Who are Feelgood Australia?

It’s been doing the social media rounds for years now, but we still love the idea behind the saying that ‘when you buy from an independent Australian business, an actual person does a little happy dance’. When we set up our business over 20 years ago, we wanted to provide people with great, Australian designed and made products that were good for you and good for the planet.

We were – and still are – fiercely passionate about supporting Aussie manufacturers, growers and entrepreneurs, and while our business model has evolved over the years to meet the demands of an ever-changing market, we remain committed to our original vision. We are proud of our brands and what they stand for, and, no matter how our industry changes, will always work hard to ensure they are as Aussie as!

When we started working in the body care industry, we found inspiration in the beauty and rawness of this wide brown land that we call home. Then, as today, we believe the only truthful solution to looking and feeling your best lies in nature — both in providing pure and natural products, and ensuring those products do no harm to our environment.

That’s why our range of body care, gifts and fragrances is inspired by Australia’s rivers, forests, mountains and grasslands, and uses only high quality elements. Designed and formulated in Melbourne, our Planet Earth Naturals products offer an honest and affordable alternative to mass-produced, chemical-filled body products.

The Grain Shop

We’re so proud of this brand…let us tell you why. While it’s no secret that many Aussie farmers are doing it tough, it can sometimes feel like solutions are hard to come by.

As country-turned-city folk, we understand these challenges and, when our extended farming family members were experiencing a downturn in wheat sales, we thought about how we could purchase, process and use it creatively…and The Grain Shop range was born!

From whimsical animal heat bags to hot water bottle covers, this brand has become incredibly popular with customers who understand the importance of supporting local, quality products and the health and wellbeing of our farmers.

Plus, we’re really chuffed that this support has meant a tiny wheat town in central Victoria now has almost a quarter of its locals employed in farming…how’s that for a great little Aussie success story!

We are a family-run and family-oriented business.

Feelgood Australia was founded and is owned by a husband and wife team…we don’t have a photo or blurb about them here, but that’s only because they’re a bit shy (but if you want to know more, feel free to give them a buzz!). We believe in personal happiness and wellbeing over the success of any business enterprise, so everyone who works with us is supported to reach a work/life balance that works for them and their family. After all, we believe true joy comes from caring about what you do, and allowing that to be just one of many passions in life.

We love our environment.

In everything we do, we aim for minimal impact on the earth. We will only formulate and sell products that are honest, natural and inspired by nature, so it’s only fair that we try to reduce, as much as possible, our business footprint in return.
